Accessibility Statement

Commitment to Accessibility
Combat Nation is dedicated to ensuring that our digital and physical experiences are accessible to everyone. We strive to provide an inclusive environment in our website, mobile applications, and training facilities for people of all abilities, in keeping with our core values of Respect, Balance, and Community.

Digital Accessibility
At Combat Nation, we are committed to making our website and app accessible to all users and aim to meet Level AA standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. To achieve this, we have implemented several important measures. Our digital platforms utilize semantic HTML and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes, which help screen readers and other assistive technologies accurately interpret and navigate the content. We ensure that all interactive elements—such as menus, buttons, form fields, and media players—are fully operable using keyboard navigation alone, catering to users who cannot use a mouse.

In terms of visual design, we carefully adhere to recommended contrast ratios for text and interface elements to enhance readability, while allowing font sizes to be adjustable and line spacing optimized for user comfort. Informative images throughout our platforms include descriptive alternative text, and all embedded videos are provided with captions and transcriptions for key audio content, making multimedia accessible to users with hearing impairments.

Our website and app are designed responsively, adapting seamlessly to various screen sizes and orientations, so they remain easy to use on desktops, tablets, and smartphones alike. Furthermore, forms are built with accessibility in mind, featuring properly associated labels for each control, clear announcements of error messages, and visible focus indicators that guide users step-by-step through multi-stage processes. Through these combined efforts, Combat Nation strives to provide an inclusive digital environment that welcomes and supports every member of our community. We continuously evaluate and enhance our digital properties through automated testing and periodic manual audits. If you encounter any barriers, please let us know.

Physical Facility Accessibility
At our Combat Nation Clubs, we are committed to making our spaces welcoming and navigable for all members and guests:

  • Entrances & Pathways
Wheelchair‑accessible ramps and wide doors at main entrances. Hallways and training zones are kept clear of obstructions.

  • Training Equipment
Selected cardio and strength machines have adjustable seats and grips. We offer adaptive martial arts training aids (e.g., lighter weapons, modified mats).

  • Restrooms & Changing Areas
Accessible stalls and sinks, grab bars, and low‑height fixtures. Family/assisted‑use restrooms are available upon request.

  • Staff Training
Our instructors and front‑desk team receive regular training on disability awareness, inclusive communication, and emergency evacuation procedures.

  • Class Accommodations
We welcome adaptive participants in all programs. Instructors can provide alternative exercises or one‑on‑one support tailored to individual needs.
